Rose and Crown

Status: Closed and demolished
Address: Artillery Street, SE1 (streetmap) (osm) (gmap) (bingmap) (streetview)
Note: The location on these maps is approximate.
London borough: Southwark
Historical parish: Bermondsey
Dates open: by 1789-at least 1836
Notes: This street no longer exists (it ran roughly east-west from Crucifix La to Fair St, although the section to the east of Church St [now Roper La], was called Charles St when this pub existed). The location on the map is a guess, but it was presumably on the south side of the street, as the boundary between Southwark and Bermondsey ran along Artillery St.
