Notes: There is a basement bar beneath it called "Old Tom's Bar" (see separate entry). There is a separate "Lamb Tap" listed in Leadenhall Market in the 1856 Post Office directory. The original site prior to rebuilding is 5m to the west, on the other side of the passage heading north-south (Whittington Ave, widened upon rebuilding).
