Notes: The management when this was closed in 2009 reopened a pub with the same name at 24 Southwark St (see separate entry), though this has since reopened under new management. Sun Fire Office insurance records of 1791/1793 mention a "Wheatsheaf Brewhouse" on Park Street nearby, so this may be the same premises.
