Lady and Cat
|Status:||Closed and demolished|
Bermondsey Street, SE1
Note: The location on these maps is approximate.
|Historical parish:||Southwark St Olave?|
|Notes:||Location on the map is a guess as there's no address given for the pub. However, the 1791 Sun Fire Office insurance record links it to a skinner at 241 Bermondsey St (since renumbered, but just north of the corner with Snowsfields), so I've located it approximately there on the map, though in fact it may have been anywhere along Bermondsey St. 241 Bermondsey St is next to the pub later called the "New Grapes" (see separate entry), so it may have been an earlier name for it.|
