| Notes: | Location on the map is a guess, but Horwood's 1799 map of London shows a Fox Alley running between Princes Street (slightly inland) and Fore Street (along the riverside), all of which was swept away for the construction of Albert Embankment in the mid-1860s. It was located opposite (and to the south) of where modern Salamanca Street intersects with Albert Embankment. |
