Notes: Renamed as "26 Smithfield" in c2007, and as "Bird of Smithfield" in 2013. Primarily a restaurant, but includes a separate bar. This was located next to the "Victoria Hotel" (at 24 King Street), and seems to have subsumed it by 1910, when this property is called the "New Market and Victoria Hotel" (though they are still marked separately on contemporary Ordnance Survey maps and the "Victoria" name shows up on its own in a 1921 directory).
