| Notes: | Renamed as the "Nag's Head" in c1635. Nags Head Buildings (or Nags Head Inn Yard) no longer exists. Nags Head Alley is marked on Rocque's map of 1746. The write-up of the site in the Survey of London in 1950 implies it is still a going concern, although it doesn't show up in Post Office directories in the 20th century nor is it marked as a pub on Ordnance Survey maps after 1895. |
